MS Excel shortcut key to create a new book – Ctrl + N
There are shortcuts for everything in Excel – and here are two useful for you.
“Ctrl + N” will create a new Excel file.
“Shift + F11” will create a new sheet.
Sometimes, you’d need to use “FN” button together with the function key (in our case, it’s F11 function key on the top of your keyboard) – depending on the mode. For most of the keyboards “FN + Esc” will switch the mode of function keys. If not – you’d need to go to your settings to do so.
